meet Whitney, Founder + Integrative Nutritionist of hello, radiant you

From a young age I have had a keen interest in people, deeper than the surface, a genuine curiosity on what they’re going through, how they feel, coupled with an insatiable appetite for all things well-being oriented. I have felt at times like I tried it all. With so many supplements, diets, and approaches it seems hard to find your way. So after many years of frustration, I started do more self-investigation. I became fascinated with juicing, and started educating myself on nutrition, reading every book I could get my hands on.

When I was 26, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. I took the tools and knowledge that I educated myself with into action, to try and help her heal with the time she had left. My heart broke when she passed. This event tipped the scales for me and my passion to help others was ignited. In my late 20s, I co-created a successful juice business built from my knowledge in health, culinary skills and expertise on the subject of juicing, feeling well and overall optimum function of the human body. Soon I developed many personal relationships with clients and it became clear that my calling was working one-on-one with people and guiding them on their health journey.

I have worked with people suffering from brain tumors, weight loss, anxiety, chemotherapy recovery and depression. The intimacy this dynamic of working together with people created a level of fulfillment which propelled me further into making this exchange a career. Over the following years, my friends and family often called on me as well to help them overcome their health challenges, which served as invaluable practice. This led me to getting certified as a Holistic Nutritionist from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. After deepening my education and becoming certified I experienced my own set of health issues; postpartum anxiety/depression and Psoriasis. I applied many allopathic and holistic principles to try and remedy, I was called to dive deep into myself and use the tools that I’d taught others. It wasn’t easy at times, but it worked. This was another moment in my life where I was tested, and by my practice of self-investigation, listening to my body, and my education, I came out the other side healthier.

As a mother of two I have an emphasis on supporting new mothers with nutritional guidance to help nourish, replenish and not just survive but thrive through fatigue and depletion all while learning to navigate family meal planning, losing weight after baby and culminating a routine after baby. My goal in taking care of myself is to have a positive impact on others. I believe the purpose of being well is to be of service, to better serve your self, family, friends, and community. Creating a healthy lifestyle has enabled me to do just that, and I hope to help you too. Ultimately, I have learned that your body is your best teacher and has the answers, I am here to support you in attuning to your bodies cues and messages and innate healing abilities using a variety of modalities tailored to YOU.

xx,

Whitney Lozano
